Useful data. Clear limits.
Your phone’s location is real sensor data. A projected corridor position is an approximation. Train frequencies are indicative estimates.
Coverage
This beta includes Purple, Green and Yellow: 83 unique stations, with changes at Majestic and RV Road. Pink, Blue and additional interchange connections are excluded until their operating status and data are reviewed. Jayadeva exists as a Yellow station; a further interchange is not in this model.
Network and licence
Corridors and bilingual station names were inherited from the prototype’s OpenStreetMap-derived dataset, via the unofficial BMRCL GTFS project. The bundled snapshot has been checked for station references, order, routing and geometry consistency in code; field and current operational review remain pending.

Frequency is not a departure
The prototype’s weekday and weekend bands suggest spacing of roughly 4–12 minutes, within an approximate 05:00–23:00 IST window. These bands are not verified against current BMRCL schedules and are labelled accordingly. We do not calculate countdowns, exact arrival times, first/last trains per direction, or live disruptions. Outside that window, we ask you to check operating hours rather than claim the service is closed.
The upstream unofficial GTFS also estimates intermediate station times. It is not integrated as a departure feed here. Read the caveat ↗
Phone GPS and transfers
Projection is limited to 350 m from a corridor and requires accuracy of 100 m or better. A fix older than 20 seconds is stale. Being near a corridor does not establish boarding. Starting a ride and confirming transfers keep the selected line stable. Underground, confirm your station manually. No platform numbers or precise transfer walking times are provided.
Map delivery and offline
Our light and dark street maps use OpenStreetMap data delivered by OpenFreeMap by default, with attribution always visible. A configured raster provider can replace this default. Only our app shell, interface fonts, corridor/station data and network diagram are cached for offline planning. We do not bulk-download or cache street tiles or basemap glyphs in the service worker.
